Finito di lavorare nel novembre 2007 e prodotto dalla stessa Romina Daniele, l’album arriva a distanza di due anni dall’importante riconoscimento, che pure è andato, per la carriera, alle grandi artiste americane Diamanda Galas e Meredith Monk.
Nata a Napoli nel 1980, residente a Milano dal 2005; forte degli studi di storia e metodologia dell’arte, teorie del cinema, estetica; dell’esperienza artistica nonché musicale e didattica, in diversi generi, ambiti e settori; Romina Daniele fa confluire in questo disco il lavoro e lo studio di due anni, ramificato nei territori della poesia, della musica, della vocalità, del teatro, del pensiero e dell’arte.
La ricerca sul suono e l’esplorazione delle dinamiche, delle armoniche e delle frequenze, l’intreccio e il conflitto delle onde sonore, acustiche oltre che musicali, sono gli elementi di primo piano.
La voce nelle sue disparate e inaspettate sfumature domina un universo segnico, in cui melodie antiche e antichi richiami convivono con tecnologie contemporanee di composizione nella dimensione altrimenti detta avant-garde, tessendo il percorso volto a perlustrare i territori della percezione e i suoi processi.
Tra costruzione e destrutturazione, composizione e istinto, Romina Daniele mette in scena il dramma della coscienza in un confronto aperto con l’ascoltatore. Alla ricerca della consapevolezza umana (dell’uomo sull’uomo), o delle ragioni della sua assenza.
Si legge dalla linea teorica del progetto: “Aisthànomai è il termine greco che sta per “percepire, comprendere”. È l’etimologia della parola “estetica” con cui si fa riferimento alla scienza filosofica applicata all’arte (…)Voce-materia-natura. Elettronica-suono-tecnica. Lingua-testo-concetto. / Ecco i tre territori in cui si dirama e attua Aisthànomai (termine emblematico di percezione e conoscenza) e sui quali si pone e nei quali si situa la mia legge di non condizione conoscitiva: fine espressivo deliberatamente perseguito.”

The winner of the Dementrio Stratos International Award for the vocal research and the musical experimentation (2005 edition),

publishes today the record:
Aisthànomai, Tragedy of Consciousness
(Voice and electronics)
The record, produced by Romina Daniele, comes two years later the important award, which has been given for the career to the great American artists Diamanda Galas and Meredith Monk as well.
Born in Naples in 1980 and living in Milan from 2005, Romina Daniele has carried on studies about history, methodology of art and aesthetics and has gone through different musical and didactic experiences. All the studies carried on over the last two years in poetry, music, vocalism, theatre and art, have been fundamental for the production of this record.
The main elements are: the sound research and the exploration of the dynamics, the overtones and the frequencies, the interlacing and/or the conflict between the sound waves, besides being musical, also acoustic.
The voice in its differing, unexpected and sudden shades, dominates a wide sign universe, in which faraway melodies and ancient calls meet contemporaneous technologies of composition in the avant-garde dimension; weaving the way to explore the perception territories and its processes.
Between construction and dismantling, composition and instinct, Romina Daniele performs the tragedy of consciousness in an open comparison with the listener. To find the human awareness (by man on man), or the reasons for its absence.
It’s can be found in the theoretical line of the project: “Aisthànomai is the Greek term that means “to perceive, to understand”. It is part of the etymology of the word “Aesthetic”, indicative of the branch of philosophy applied to art. (…)Voice-matter-nature. Electronics-sound-technique. Language-text-concept. / Here are the three territories where Aisthànomai (a term emblematic of perception and knowledge) unfolds and is realised and on which and in which my law of cognitive non-conditioning are placed and situated: as an expressive goal deliberately pursued.”
